Black's associate takes to the stand

The US government’s star witness at former media mogul Conrad Black’s fraud trial testified that he consulted Black on every business deal he made on behalf of the Hollinger newspaper empire.

David Radler, Hollinger’s former second-in-command, seemed to punch a hole in the defence claim that it was Radler who engineered a multi-million-dollar swindling of the company while Black was busy elsewhere.
