ISEQ boosted by Blackrock property bid
The ISEQ-index of Irish shares has made modest gains with a 62.25 increase at 9532.87.
Blackrock International Land boosted their stock by 2c to 47c with the announcement that it has formed a new joint venture with Applecross Properties Limited to develop its 8.82 acre site at Chesser Avenue in Scotland.
It is anticipated that the project will have a gross development value in excess of €117m.
Elsewhere on the trading floor, all of the financial big guns made gains with IL&P the best performer surging 25c to €19.60.
Anglo climbed 12c at €16.57 while AIB gained a 13c boost at €22.48.
Bank of Ireland reported a 9c increase at €19.60.
