Waterford biotechnology company Genzyme have announced 52 new jobs for their Waterford-based facility.

Genzyme, which currently employs over 300 people at its biotechnology facility, will recruit the workers before the end of this year.

Meanwhile, in Dublin, the Employment Minister officially opened the new Sage Data Housing Centre in Citywest today.

Micheal Martin announced an additional investment of €400,000 for the software localisation centre which employs 40 people.
