ISEQ makes modest start
The ISEQ-index has begun the week with modest gains climbing 13.20 points at 9716.78 this morning.
News that bathroom suite manufacturer, Qualceram Shires has moved a step closer to finalising a property deal in Co Wicklow has boosted shares at the group by 1c at €2.10.
The group announced that it has completed the contract phase to purchase a South Quay in Arklow, Co Wicklow from the Arklow Harbour Commissioners for €2m.
Elsewhere on the market floor the financial big guns experienced a mixed bag of fortunes. AIB and Anglo increased 21c at €22.91 and €16.61 respectively.
Meanwhile Bank of Ireland slipped 6c at €16.49 while IL&P managed a slightly better performance climbing 3c at €20.83.
