ThirdForce upbeat for 2007

E-learning company ThirdForce has announced pre-tax losses of €1.4m for last year, after a loss of €1.2m in 2005.

The losses were despite an underlying operating profit of just over €1m for 2006, up from €669,000 in 2005. ThirdForce invested in a new set of products last year, broadening the business from a position in IT skills and assessment into the hospitality and leisure sector, an e-learning market it identified as having high growth potential.

Chairman Pat McDonagh said: "Management has already re-shaped the business by re-allocating resources from product development into product sales. I am confident that this increase in sales resource from January 1 provides a platform for another year of success in 2007."

ThirdForce has offices in Ireland, the UK, Australia and Canada.
