EBS shareholders urged to back Tinney in board election
Independent senator and business journalist Shane Ross is calling on EBS shareholders to back his call to support the re-election of Eithne Tinney to the board of the mortgage company.
Ms Tinney has raised questions about the conduct of the company, including the chief executive's €700k-a-year salary.
Senator Ross says the salaries of certain senior executives are not in line with the performance of the EBS in the marketplace.
He says any EBS shareholders who do not want to travel to Dublin for the company's AGM later this month can give him their proxy vote on behalf of Ms Tinney.
