Barclay's merger 'could lead to job losses'
Hundreds of workers could lose their jobs if the proposed merger between banking giant Barclays and ABN Amro goes ahead, it was reported today.
The Sunday Telegraph said Barclays is planning to cut costs by more than £3bn (€4.4bn), which could see hundreds of jobs axed at ABN’s investment banking operations in London.
