Soap firm unveils plan for innovation centre

The maker of Imperial Leather underlined its commitment to the UK today by announcing plans for a £26m (€38m) manufacturing and innovation centre.

PZ Cussons said it had considered alternative locations, such as eastern Europe and the Far East, but found that the proposed site at Agecroft, Greater Manchester, allowed it to retain its existing skilled workforce and to access academic research from local universities.
