Food prices fall slightly after introduction of Groceries Order

The Director of Consumer Affairs Anne Fitzgerald has stated that retail prices are heading in the right direction following the abolition of the groceries order.

The Oireachtas Committee on Enterprise and Small Business has heard that the prices of some goods have risen slightly while others have fallen in 2006.
