The Federation of Small Businesses has condemned last night’s criminal damage and burglary in Belfast City Centre.

Harry McGimpsey, Belfast city centre Branch Chairman said: "This type of petty vandalism is completely unacceptable and we congratulate the police in making speedy arrests after the incidents took place."

"Our members in Belfast City Centre remain concerned that crime is still too high and we hope that the Police District Commander in the area will increase patrols to deter any further attacks from happening in the first place."
