The FTSE 100 Index remained at a six-year high after Vodafone joined a clutch of property firms at the top of the Footsie risers board.

The mobile phone giant continued to climb, up 1.75p at 152p, as handset maker Nokia said fourth-quarter profits rose by 19% after a push into new markets.
