Disney engineer dies
Don Edgren, a US engineer who led a team building the first Space Mountain and had a role in building various Disney parks, has died at the age of 83.
Edgren died after suffering a stroke on December 28, his daughter, Kathlee Partee, told the Los Angeles Times.
His 33 years of Disney problem-solving began in 1954 when the engineering firm he worked for was hired to help ready Disneyland for its opening the next year.
