3 Ireland slashes roaming charges

The mobile phone firm 3 Ireland is challenging its competitors to bring an end to controversial roaming charges.

The company issued the challenge today while launching a new pricing programme that will allow customers to make calls and send text messages from abroad at standard domestic rates.
