Total Produce, the company recently spun off from Fyffes, has bought UK fresh produce company Redbridge Holdings in a deal worth up to €23m.

Total Produce, the company recently spun off from Fyffes, has bought UK fresh produce company Redbridge Holdings in a deal worth up to €23m.

Total Produce will pay an initial €13m in cash, with a further €4.5m payable in 2010 if certain profit targets are met. The company will also take on a €5.5m deficit in Redbridge's pension scheme.
