Paddy Power renews greyhound-race sponsorship

ISEQ-listed bookmaker Paddy Power has announced its continued sponsorship of the Irish Greyhound Derby for three more years.

Paddy Power has sponsored the race, the oldest greyhound Classic in the world, since 2000.

Head of communications Paddy Power said: "There are only a handful of sporting events that have true national significance and this is one of them.

“We have always been acutely aware of the resonance that greyhound racing has in Ireland and its ever-increasing popularity amongst the young and old.

“As Ireland's largest bookmaker we are delighted to put something back into the industry through our sponsorship of this prestigious event.”
