Martin hails SFI research funding

Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Micheál Martin has praised the Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) for investing almost €140m in scientific research in 2006.

The investment was committed to researchers and research projects in the fields underpinning Information & Communications Technology (ICT), Biotechnology and the Research Frontiers Programme.
