Conference calls knock millions off BT travel bill

Telecoms giant BT has saved more than £80m (€119m) in travel and other costs with increasing use of conference calls rather than face-to-face staff meetings, new figures have shown.

The company said hundreds of thousands of meetings were avoided in the past year because they were replaced by phone or video calls.
