Acquisition highlighted at IAWS AGM

IAWS chairman Denis Lucey spoke positively on the past year at the company’s AGM in Dublin’s Westin Hotel today.

Adjusted pre-tax profits increased during the year by 14.6% to €123.5m.

Mr Lucey heralded the purchase of Otis Spunkmeyer and the creation of Origin Enterprises plc as a way of pursuing “an aggressive growth policy”.
