Hotel Partners expand portfolio with Fermanagh hotel

Hotel Partners, a specialist hotel management company, today announced that it has expanded its hotel portfolio.

The leisure firm has added the Lough Erne Golf Resort in Co Fermanagh.

The resort is located on the shores of Lough Erne and has 60 bedrooms and 25 golf lodges.

It will play host to a Nick Faldo designed golf course and is set to open in September 2007.

Colm Deignan, Managing Director, Hotel Partners said: "The Nick Faldo designed golf course will rival the best courses in the world and we are already confident that we will be successful in our application to host the Solheim Cup in 2011."

Said Nick Faldo: "I've played golf on every continent and I can honestly say that I am overwhelmed by the location and beauty of the Lough Erne project. A few years ago Loch Lomond set the standard for Scottish lakeland golf. I am confident that my design at Lough Erne can do the same for Ireland."

The Lough Erne Golf resort will also feature 28 luxury suites, a specialist spa and a full suite of conference facilities.
