Irish car-hire firms accused of 'fleecing' Christmas tourists

The Consumers Association has hit out at car-hire companies who "fleece" people coming to Ireland over the festive period.

The association says a survey of such firms has found that many are planning to hike their prices over Christmas and the new year, with one company planning to impose a 225% increase.
