TCH director wins award
The group managing director of Thomas Crosbie Holdings, Anthony Dinan, has been named as the Cork Business Person of the Year.
Mr Dinan was named as the inaugural winner of the event, a joint initiative between Business Cork Magazine and the Imperial Hotel.
Mr Dinan saw off strong competition from 11 other award winners drawn from the elite of the region’s business community.
Justice Minister Michael McDowell made the formal presentation of the accolade to Mr Dinan at a dinner in the ballroom of the Imperial Hotel.
Mr Dinan’s award citation said he was chosen because Thomas Crosbie Holdings (TCH), the Irish Examiner’s parent company, has become Ireland’s fastest growing media company with interests in 18 national and regional titles including the Irish Examiner, Evening Echo, Sunday Business Post and others.
TCH also has interests in radio and online media.
