A gang of thieves stole microchips and computer parts worth about $12.7m (€9.9m) from a Malaysian warehouse, it was reported today.

Some 24 robbers drugged 17 workers at the warehouse area – which is housed with other buildings near Penang airport’s cargo complex – and loaded 585 cartridges of microchips and computer parts in two 40-foot container trucks about an hour after midnight on Sunday, the New Straits Times reported.
