US pharmaceutical firm to create 120 jobs in Tipperary
A US pharmaceutical company has announced plans to create 120 jobs over the next three years at its plant in Co Tipperary.
Merck, Shap and Dohme says the jobs will be located at a new manufacturing and R&D facility at the Ballydine factory.
The project is being supported by the IDA.
Merck, Sharpe and Dohme has been operating since 1976 in Ballydine, where it already employs 340 people.
