Debt firm reports IVA surge

Debt Free Direct reaped the benefit of the UK’s borrowing binge today as it said the number of people it offered rescue packages to doubled.

The company issued twice as many Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs) between May and October than it did in the same six months last year.
