Wind power will save consumers €30m in 2007 - SEI

Sustainable Energy Ireland stated today that an increases in wind power capacity on the national grid will benefit consumers with €30m savings in 2007.

While the price of electricity will increase by 20% in 2007, SEI predict Irish consumers benefiting from a €30m saving on electricity bills due to the increase in wind powered electricity.
