Minister for Enterprise Micheál Martin today announced that Pepsi, the second largest non-alcoholic beverage company in the world, is to carry-out next generation product research and development at its Cork facility.

Minister for Enterprise Micheál Martin today announced that Pepsi, the second largest non-alcoholic beverage company in the world, is to carry-out next generation product research and development at its Cork facility.

It is also to establish its Worldwide Concentrate Headquarters in Cork as part of the expansion of the parent company's global strategy.

The investments are supported by IDA Ireland.

Minister Martin said “Today’s announcement is a huge vote of confidence in Ireland as a location for world-class research. It is a significant development for the PepsiCo Corporation as the centre will provide new capability and expertise for the company worldwide."
