Emap sees revenues fall
Media group Emap – publisher of Closer and FHM – today said it expected half-year underlying revenues to fall 2% as a strong performance in its women’s titles offset poor sales at its men’s and car magazines.
In the UK, half-year advertising revenues was expected to be flat due to a tough trading environment, despite strong growth at its weekly title Grazia.
Emap said conditions were likely to remain difficult but added that it remained on track to meet full year expectations.
