ISEQ on the up

There were mixed fortunes on the ISEQ index of shares this morning as the Dublin market saw gains of 18.47 to 8157.26.

Ormonde mining shares were unchanged at 25c as it reported progress on its gold exploration projects in northwest Spain, with drilling programmes on the Salamanca Gold Project and other properties to continue through Q4.

The financials were mixed this morning. Bank of Ireland and Irish Life & Permanent were in the black, up 10c and 5c to €15.25 and €19.60 respectively.

AIB shares fell back 6c to €20.78, while Anglo Irish shares were down 1c to 12.68.
