Former BoI UK chief exec appointed to IL&P board

Irish Life & Permanent has announced the appointment of Roy Keenan as a non-executive director of the Group effective from 1st October.

Roy Keenan has long experience in financial services, most recently as chief executive of Bank of Ireland in the UK.

Speaking on the appointment, chairman Gillian Bowler said that Keenan will bring a wealth of

experience to the company.

"Roy's long experience in financial services in both Ireland and the UK will be invaluable to the Group and I look forward to his contribution to the work of the board," she said.
