Elverys to open Croke Park store
Elverys Sports, the well-known sportswear retailers, are to open a new store in Croke Park as an official retail partner to the GAA.
Elverys are to open a 15,000 square foot superstore at the Dublin 3 venue in two weeks' time, with GAA President Nickey Brennan performing the official opening on Friday, September 15.
As part of the partnership, and to coincide with the new store opening, Elverys Sports will launch an official online GAA shop, which will allow supporters and members of the general public to purchase "the full range of official GAA merchandise such as GAA jerseys, footballs, accessories and equipment."
Elverys' Marketing Manager Anne-Marie Hanly said of the new deal: "We are delighted that Croke Park have selected us as an official retail partner and believe that with the range of products in our new store in Croke Park, it will become the one-stop shop for all GAA players and supporters."
Elverys have a long-standing relationship with Gaelic games - they currently sponsor the Mayo senior footballers and the Dublin lady footballers.
Peter McKenna, Croke Park's Stadium Director, commented: "We feel there is a great fit with Elverys and Croke Park and for this reason, are confident that the partnership will have very positive benefits for both parties. We are delighted to add Elverys Sports to our list of partners."
