IMPACT to reveal results of partnership deal ballot
Ireland's second largest trade union is due to announce the results of its ballot on the new social partnership deal later today.
The views of IMPACT's 56,000 members will be the first significant indication of whether the deal will be ratified at a special ICTU conference next month.
The support of IMPACT, along with that of SIPTU, would almost certainly ensure that the Towards 2016 deal is approved by the trade union movement.
SIPTU, which is due to finish balloting its 200,000 members today, will announce the results of its vote next week.
