Budget Travel refutes ITAA claims
Budget Travel has rejected claims that only Government-licensed travel agents offer the best value for money.
The company left the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) this January. It claims its prices then dropped by not having to pay commission by working through an agent.
Head of marketing Clem Walsh said today suggestions that ITAA agencies offer the full range of options for Irish tourists is wrong.
“Budget Travel shops are the only travel agency that Irish customers can get the full range of choice of holidays available to them,” he said.
“When you go in to an ITAA agent you will not get offered a Budget Travel holiday because we don't deal with travel agents any more.”
