Service sector sees strong jump in July

NCB Purchasing Managers’ Services Index, which covers all private sector services in Ireland excluding retail and wholesale, shows a sharp rise in activity at Irish service sector firms during July.

A third of firms indicated that activity had risen since the previous month, compared to 16% that noted a decline. Activity has now increased in each month since June 2003.
