Ryanair announces six new routes

Ryanair has announced six new routes from Glasgow (two) and Frankfurt (four).

From October 31, Ryanair will start flights from Glasgow to Eindhoven and Riga. On the same date, the airline will start flights from Frankfurt to Balaton, Biarritz, Nantes and Valencia.

Announcing these new routes Ryanair head of communications Peter Sherrard said: "This brings the total number of routes served by Ryanair from Glasgow Prestwick to 23 and the total from Frankfurt Hahn to 41 and will result in an additional 350,000 passengers per year across the Ryanair network."

Sherrard added that Ryanair remained committed not passing on fuel surcharges to customers.

"Ryanair …guarantees its passengers that they will never pay a fuel surcharge, not today, not tomorrow, not ever," he said.
