Martin slams 'anti-business' stance by local authorities
Minister for Enterprise Micheál Martin has attacked local authorities across the country that he claims are hostile to the business community.
Speaking at a business conference being hosted by Fianna Fáil in Galway, Mr Martin claimed certain councils were discouraging job creation by adopting an anti-business stance.
He slammed the inconsistency in charges being levied on companies in different local authority areas and said city and county managers would be encouraged to be more business-friendly in the future.
