More than four fifths of SIPTU members in Great Southern Hotels have voted in favour of industrial action.

More than four fifths of SIPTU members in Great Southern Hotels have voted in favour of industrial action.

The strike is linked to a dispute over the proposed sale of the group by the Dublin Airport Authority.

Staff are angry that there is still no guarantee on pensions, redundancy terms or adherence to existing agreements.

Both sides have been invited to a hearing by the Labour Court on Wednesday.
