New company enters directory enquiries market
Ireland's third entry into the national directory enquiries market has been launched today.
Call 11890 Ltd claims it will create up to 150 jobs over the next 18 months. These positions will include call centre operations, account management and technical staff.
The company, based in Clonshaugh Industrial Estate in Dublin's northside, also claims it will provide significant savings for Irish consumers.
"For the past decade, directory enquiries market has been in effect run by two operators," said managing director Nicola Byrne.
"But this is about to change with the introduction of 11890. Our premise is simple - we're about offering professional and personal customer service at value for money rates."
"Unlike our competitors, at 11890 we have no automated machines meaning that our customers will be greeted by trained professionals, who will personally supply callers with the numbers they request, each time they call.
“The days of speaking to a robotic computerised voice are over!"
