Bisto owner ups marketing spend
Foods giant RHM unveiled £5m (€7.2m) of extra marketing today as it prepared to launch new products in its Hovis, Bisto and Sharwood’s ranges.
The boost to its annual marketing budget of £27m (€39m) came as the group signalled positive signs at its Mr Kipling cakes business, which suffered a sales collapse last year as consumers switched to healthier products.
