US stocks advanced today in light trading as Wall Street recovered from the previous session’s selloff and awaited tomorrow’s expected interest rate hike from the Federal Reserve.
Traders were still nervous after the Dow Jones industrial average lost more than 120 points on Tuesday on a selloff fuelled by worries about the Fed’s pending interest rate decision and its accompanying policy statement.
