INM reports first half growth
Independent News & Media has this morning reported growth in a mumber of areas in a trading statement for the first half of the year.
It said group revenue and revenue from circulation would both be 3% higher, with advertising ahead 3.5%. Overall earnings are expected to be 10% higher than in the same period last year.
The group's CEO, Anthony O'Reilly, said: "Our multi-media, multi-lingual and multi-market strategy for growth, combined with our low cost ethos, gives us confidence in our ability to deliver another year of superior earnings growth. Early results for 2006 are fully in line with expectations and we look forward to another successful year of double-digit earnings growth."
