US: Laptop containing 13,000 employees' data stolen

A laptop containing the Social Security identification numbers and other personal data of 13,000 Washington employees and pensioners has been stolen.

The computer was stolen last Monday from the Washington home of an employee of ING US Financial Services, said officials with the company, which administers the Washington district’s retirement plan.
