Indian company to create 1,000 new jobs in the North

An Indian company has announced plans to create 1,000 jobs in the North over the next two years.

The positions will be created by ICICI OneSource at two call centres it is planning to open in Belfast and another location in the near future.

The company specialises in "business process outsourcing", handling calls for a range of clients in the financial services, telecommunications and healthcare sectors.
