Food businesses are being warned to be aware of the increased risk of food poisoning during the summer months.

The warning was issued today by the Food Safety Authority as it revealed that closure orders were served on two businesses in Dublin and Offaly last month.

Central Supermarket on Dublin's Moore Street was found to be in breach of food safety legislation after a visit by environmental health officers.

An order was also served on Bilal Irish Meat, which has butchers shops in Dublin and Banagher.
