BoI seals outsourced services deal
Bank of Ireland has appointed support services group Alfred McAlpine as the bank’s future supplier of facilities services in Ireland.
Facilities management includes building services, cleaning, reception, telephone and mailroom services as well as maintenance of the group’s buildings.
The seven-year contract will bring savings of €30m to the bank.
Alfred McAlpine delivers similar services in a number of countries. The company is expanding its business into Ireland.
Bank of Ireland said today that it anticipated the transition of facilities management activities to McAlpine would take a number of months to complete.
