Tullow saw 'strong growth' in 2005: Chairman
Tullow Oil chairman Pat Plunkett has said the company saw strong growth in 2005.
Speaking at the group's AGM, Mr Plunkett said the performance of group assets, combined with the strength of UK gas and global oil prices, has allowed Tullow to invest substantially in its business whilst simultaneously increasing returns to shareholders.
In the UK, Tullow’s key moves were the acquisition of the Schooner and Ketch assets, the completion of the operated Horne and Wren development and the drilling of three exploration wells.
In Asia, Tullow has interests in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh
A more detailed review of operations will be provided in a trading statement in July 2006.
