FAS workers who are members of SIPTU have accepted the proposals aimed at resolving the decentralisation row at the state training agency.

98% voted in favour of the Labour Relations Commission proposals.

The union has now suspended it industrial action which included a series of one day and half day work stoppages at FAS offices in Dublin.

The workers are opposed to any compulsory transfer from Dublin to Birr in Co Offaly as part of the Government's decentralisation programme.
