New building to help rejuvenate east Donegal region

The official opening of the newly-constructed Oak Tree Business Park and Community Centre took place today at Killygordon in east Donegal.

It is hoped the centre will provide much-needed facilities and services to accelerate and stimulate economic regeneration and community development for the area.

The €800,000 centre was chiefly funded by the International Fund for Ireland and Border Action.

The local community (€120,000), National Lottery (€100,000), Donegal Development Board (€19,000), Ireland American Fund (€12,700) also helped fund the project.
