Given the right circumstances, the Irish indigenous software industry could grow from employing 16,000 people to employing 50,000 by 2010, it was claimed today.

“Creating scale for Irish indigenous software companies is crucial if they wish to play in the same field as their global industry counterparts ,” according to Irish Software Association (ISA) chairman Bernie Cullinan.
