Family sells interest in Gunne estate agents

Estate agents Gunne Residential and Gunne Financial Services have been sold to a new team of investors by the Gunne family for an undisclosed sum.

Owner Pat Gunne said that selling to outside investors was in the long term interests of the business, its employees and its customers.

The new investors "will adopt a hands-on approach to running the company," he said.

The new team is planning a number of new offices for Dublin.

The company headquarters will also be relocated to the original Gunne headquarters in Ballsbridge.
