Bord Bia hosts showcase of Irish food produce

Food buyers with a purchasing power of some €8bn are in Dublin today for a major showcase of Irish produce.

The event at the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham, arranged by An Bord Bia, is designed to promote a range of Irish products from smoked lamb and beef to cheese and chocolates.

One hundred and fifty buyers from Ireland, the UK and continental Europe are expected to attend the day-long fair.
